Late Pt. Raja Ram Shastri established Astrological Research Centre
(ASTROCENT) in 1952. The clear aim of this august organization
was to remove the misconceptions from the mind of the populace and to
make the true nature and magnitude of astrology known
to everyone which is not only a complete science in itself but also the
most encompassing one. In this effort, through astrological conferences,
newspapers and journals it was popularized that in astrology to be able
to tell details about a person without even knowing or seeing him is nothing
less than a scientific achievement and slowly this organization started
giving predictions in writing on its letter pad which were crowned with
outstanding success.
The founder of Astrological Research Centre, Late Pt.
Raja Ram Shastri, not only made predictions about political personalities
but also sent copies of the same to these political personalities. This
trend was started by first of all working out the muhurta of oath-taking
ceremony for the post of Prime Minister for Late Sh. Lal Bahadur
Shastri and afterwards advising him against going to Tashkent
while giving the varshphal (one year forecast) for the
year in which he died (even today the eyewitnesses of which are some acharyas
of Lal Bahadur Shastri Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeeth, Delhi). In recent
times, the then Prime Minister of India, Sh. P.V. Narsimha Rao was continually
sent predictions in writing the examples of which are even today available
in our files. Under Astrological Research Centre to date ten research
books have been published and more than a hundred research papers have
been read in various conferences and published in research journals.
Among the various path breaking research works that have been carried
out under the auspices of Astrological Research Centre,
the significant ones are 27 day varshphal and why and how two persons
born at the same time and place can have different destinies.
After completing his education the son of Late Pt. Raja Ram Shastri, Pt.
Sunil Sharma also joined Astrological Research Centre in 1990 to further
the cause of astrology and Astrological Research Centre started giving
all the predictions in writing on its letter pad which was the beginning
of a new era of research in which a database of approximately forty thousand
horoscopes was created and giving it different forms a detailed table
for guna matching was compiled in which with the help of Pauranic references
and original handwritten manuscripts new conceptions were formed. In the
same manner making predictions about twins, why industrialists are in
the same field? Diagnosing diseases and making predictions about health.
Share market predictions, predictions relating to cricketers, predictions
about political personalities etc. in which the predictions about former
Prime Minister P.V. Narsimha Rao etc. were some research
works of special interest.
Astrological Research Centre also started teaching astrology
to some students but due to lack of time it had perforce it had to be
closed.
After the demise of the founder of Astrological Research Centre, Pt. Raja
Ram Shastri on 6th November,2002 the research work came almost to a standstill
for some time but then Pt. Sunil Sharma again started the work with a
new vigour and after Sonal Sharma joined the organization this website

in which research papers of Pt. Sunil Sharma and Late Pt. Raja Ram Shastri
will continually be available and the decision to eradicate the fraud
and lack of confidence in astrology which is prevalent today with the
help of original research and giving predictions in writing has been taken.
In this cause the Amrit Kumbh journal edited by Pt. Sunil Sharma will
also have its contribution.
